I grew up in the 80’s on the cusp of the tech boom.

I touched old skool learning before technology expanded access. 

My mother was a librarian, and I was enthusiastic about spending time there. I loved the smell, the feel, the words. I felt as though the entirety of the human experience was within reach. 

I didn’t know it for the privilege that I see it for today, but even then I was smitten by the access. 

I ran my baby hands along the spines regularly, and the giant wood desk enchanted me with its charming little drawers filled with indications. 

This is where the research began. 

Not on any one thing but on anything. 

How many resources on a subject could I find, and what might there be inside? I could appease any inquiry of my mind. 

I’m still romanticized by learning. 

I appreciate the vast library of access at my fingertips. 

I research what calls me personally, I’m particularly drawn to human healing and growth science. 

Be it biochemistry, the mystery of metaphysics, complexities of relational behavior, or how language reveals us. 

Creatively I enjoy shaping what I’ve learned into something supportive to humans less research-inclined.
